Grand River Hospital (GRH) evaluates our community’s access to hospital services through established benchmarks.
Reducing wait times for key health services is an important part of the Ontario government’s strategy to transform healthcare in the province to ensure the system is patient-centred and responsive to local needs.
Indicators measured and publically reported by GRH related to access to care include wait times for surgery and diagnostic imaging, and wait times for emergency room visits.
