Our renal program medically supports the management of peritoneal dialysis. Peritoneal dialysis is an excellent way to manage your kidney disease in the comfort of your home. Peritoneal dialysis is gentler and better resembles your kidneys’ natural function.
You are trained to complete your dialysis daily in the comfort of your home. This allows you increased independence and a greater degree of control over your disease and treatments. The training process takes one week of in-hospital education. Your training schedule is determined by you and the training nurse.
