Complex medical

This is an inpatient unit for individuals with chronic and complex illnesses who require a range of therapeutic services and technologies that are not readily available in the community. This unit is available at 519-749-4300 extension 7354.

This unit is located in Union Terrace on the 3rd floor on the North Court.

Chronic ventilator/respiratory

This unit provides highly specialized care for individuals with complex and chronic respiratory conditions including those individuals who require a ventilator. This unit is available at 519-749-4300 extension 7355. This unit is located in the Union Terrace on the 3rd floor East Court.

For both units, patients may stay in private, semi-private or ward rooms, and have shared dining and recreational facilities. We are not always able to accommodate room preference.

We welcome visitors as part of the hospital’s visiting policy. Please remember to wash your hands well before, during and after your visit. Please avoid visiting if you have symptoms of a cold, influenza or a stomach virus.
