Our fracture clinic is located on the second floor of Grand River Hospital’s (GRH) KW Campus at 835 King Street West in Kitchener.
Orthopaedic and plastic surgeons have scheduled clinic times between 8 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday. We work closely with the emergency and medical imaging departments to provide care to our patients.
Services we provide include:
- casting;
- splinting;
- some dressing changes and removal of sutures;
- fracture setting and pinning; and
- injections and aspirations;
Some of these services may incur an additional cost.
Please note that while we book appointments, those appointments may be delayed by patients coming from the emergency department who require immediate care and follow-up. Please be prepared to spend additional time in the clinic should your appointment time be delayed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We will do our best to provide you the care you need as soon as we can.
Referral to the fracture clinic can be made through a physician. Please register at patient registration on the second floor of the hospital before coming to fracture clinic. You will need your health card for all appointments.
If you have been injured and think you may have a broken bone, contact your family physician or visit GRH’s emergency department at 835 King Street West in Kitchener.
