Right Honourable David Johnston, a name that resonates with leadership and dedication, is known for his distinguished career in public service and academia. Born in Sudbury, Ontario, Mr. Johnston's journey has been marked by a commitment to education, exemplified by his tenure as the principal and vice-chancellor of McGill University and his role as president of the University of Waterloo from 1999 to 2010. He later served as the 28th Governor General of Canada from 2010 to 2017. Mr. Johnston's contributions extend beyond his formal roles, as he has authored numerous books and articles, sharing his insights on leadership, law, and public policy.

On March 31, 2025, you will have the chance to hear him speak and reflect on his distinguished career and insights into Canadian leadership. In a unique and special occurrence, Mr. Johnston has graciously agreed to be part of this fundraiser for a health system close to his heart.
