Narrator: We're inside Grand River Hospital's newly-renovated Health Care Centre Pharmacy. It's our retail pharmacy at the KW Campus. And the manager, Lashen Naidoo is here today to tell us a little more about what the retail pharmacy now has. Lashen, where would you like to start.
Lashen: So let's start right in the entrance. We have a nice large selection of compression stockings, the Sigvaris brand, for use by staff and clients alike. Lots of recommendations for that post surgery. What we also have as a new offering are the home health care products like the walkers, the shower chairs and a whole number of other items. The OTs and PTs of the hospital have a list of the products that we keep on hand so that they can easily offer that to our patients so they can understand exactly what they can get at the pharmacy to make it more convenient for their discharge process as well. What staff and clients alike will notice is that we have a lot of a lot of additional departments in our pharmacy now because of the additional space. Dressings, the adult incontinence range. And significantly, our baby care section. We have a very large baby care section which will tie nicely with our childbirth program.
Narrator: OK, the retail pharmacy is now open at the KW Campus. What are the hours then Lashen?
Lashen: So Monday to Friday from 830 to 6, and on Saturdays from 9 to 5. We are closed on Sundays.
Narrator: And all the money comes back to support care?
Lashen: Correct, all the net proceeds from the pharmacy go back to funding programs so you receive exceptional care at Grand River Hospital.
