KITCHENER, ON - Grand River Hospital (GRH) has been recognized as one of Waterloo Area’s Top Employers for 2023 by Mediacorp Canada Inc., organizers of the annual Canada's Top 100 Employers competition.
This designation was earned through GRH’s commitment to;
- Maintain programming to support the mental health and well-being of employees through mental health awareness workshops, sessions on managing burnout and compassion fatigue, free subscriptions to the Calm app – and a mental health benefit of up to $1,500 annually.
- Cultivating a family-friendly culture with maternity leave top-up payments for new mothers, fathers and adoptive parents, and the option to extend parental leaves into unpaid leaves of absence -- also providing fertility drug subsidies, if needed.
