“A true example of a nurse who goes beyond her duties": Vicky McGuire, complex continuing care nurse, wins GRH award of excellence 

For the first time ever, Grand River Hospital (GRH) and St. Mary’s General Hospital (SMGH) co-hosted an annual community update last Thursday, November 21 in front of a sold out crowd at the Centre for International Governance and Innovation in Waterloo.

In 2018/19 GRH helped save the lives of 25 people and 40 tissue donors enhanced the lives of many people through transplantation of corneas, skin, bone and heart valves.
